Skinny On Fat Loss asked:

However much we wish it was easy to lose belly fat quickly unfortunately this is not the case. It will require dedication and discipline to achieve rapid belly fat loss. However, just because it is difficult does not mean it cannot be done. Here are a few tips and techniques to help you lose belly fat quickly:

Contrary to popular belief a lot of crunches, leg lifts and other abdominal specific exercises will not help you lose belly fat quickly. It will surely strengthen your abdominal muscles though, and when you manage to melt the bulge around your middle away you’ll have a nice six pack to show off so the effort will not be entirely wasted.

You might be breathing a sigh of relief right now if you were not looking forward to an intense exercise program. Don’t get too excited though. Exercise remains a key component of any plan to lose belly fat quickly, and both cardiovascular exercise and weight training will be important for you to achieve your rapid weight loss goals.

Any form of cardiovascular exercise will be beneficial, and does not need to be of high intensity to achieve results. However, you will need to spend a minimum of 30-60 minutes a day if you want to achieve rapid belly fat loss. The reason for this is that your body will not start to burn fat immediately. First it will deplete your glycogen stores, and only once that reservoir has been drained will it turn to fat as an energy source.

Weight training is also important in helping you lose belly fat quickly. The development of lean muscle will actually increase your metabolism and serve as a fat burning furnace even at rest. Do not ignore weight training as part of your exercise regimen.

Finally, a proper diet cannot be ignored if you want to lose belly fat quickly. High fat foods like chips, burgers, and pizza are tasty and convenient, but you will never make any progress if you don’t limit these foods in your diet. They are fine as an occasional treat providing you’ve been adhering to your exercise program, but they cannot be a core component of your overall diet. Instead focus on foods like lean meats, vegetables, fruits, nuts and grains. These foods will give your body the energy it needs without the extra calories that erase your progress in your attempt to lose belly fat.

If you stick to these three simple techniques you should start to see the pounds melt off in no time at all, and if you add in regular abdominal exercises you could be sporting a ripped six pack next time you head to the beach.

Caffeinated Content

Giselle Siegle asked:

Complete Guide Needed to Lose Body Fat

Seeing so many people looking for information about fat loss – lose body fat everyday, and the words they typed when they came to my website make me feel that they were crying for help. And I would like to tell all of them who need help that I’m here for you – A Fat Loss Pro with a Fat Loss System is right here to help you!

A Fat Loss System needed to lose body fat

I can feel how you feel and how you need the help. From my experience, you need a system that include everything you need for fat loss. Because losing weight is a big life changing process, a journey, it can’t be done just by piece of information or a bit of tips, you need a system or a complete guild that include everything in order to achieve fat loss.

Just think for a minute, when you go on a trip, what do you need for it? You need at least a compass that will guide you at a right direction, a map and a vehicle to take you there. Among those the compass is most important because if you get wrong direction no matter how good the map and vehicle you have, you will never arrive in your destination.

When it comes to weight loss, you need a complete guild to fat loss, and tools. Does every job or business need guidelines and tools? A carpenter needs screwdriver, a builder needs a hammer, a bodybuilder needs weights.

Regarding weights training, it can’t be done just by buying a gym membership without any professional instructions or coaching after someone told you – go boost your metabolism to aid fat loss, but only the people who don’t have metabolic syndrome (also known as insulin resistance) will gain muscles if do it RIGHT.

If you do have metabolic syndrome or insulin resistance (but you probably won’t know it yourself, it is a pre-diabetes syndrome), you will be unable to build muscles and lose weight. I see those people at gym everyday, and they have not got any results after doing it for years, some of them even over ten years.

I also see people doing wrong at gym everyday. and they are not getting the results to build muscles either, because of ineffective exercises, although they work very hard and sweat a lot instead, they are at high risk of getting injuries.

There are so many people who failed in their weight loss because they did not have a system to help them to do so. They failed because they did not have the knowledge, the skills and the tools of fat loss. They did not know exactly what weight loss is about (it can be muscle loss). Weight loss must be fat loss – lose body fat not lose muscle.

They did not know how to lose weight or lose body fat and had been fooled by some exciting words or false promises. They were lost on their journey, frustrated and depressed – some of them are unable to lose weight and some of them regained the weight they lost. Do you want the same results? or do you want to lose some weight of muscles? Certainly not! You want to lose some weight of FAT!

A Fat Loss System needed by the beginners and the failures

If you just start weight loss journey you are reading this now, you are very lucky:-) as you know now how to lose weight successfully by a step by step system that can guide you on the journey so you won’t get lost as the others did. What you need to do is just to follow the system step by step, lose the pounds from the first week and keep them off for ever.

If you have tried fad diet one after another but you are reading this now, you would understand more than those who have not yet tried the diets. Why the diets did not work? because they are unbalanced and unhealthy, like Ornish, Atikins (read a report on low carb diet on my website), Lemon Detox (watch a video on my website), they either eliminated fats or carbohydrates, or make you lose muscle mass in stead of losing body fat, so you will regain the weight you lost once you go back to normal food. But you can successfully achieve your dreams by a system you have never seen before. .

A Fat Loss System needed by people wanting long term weight loss

No one likes to regain the weight he lost, and everyone would like to keep it off for good. With a fat loss system, you will not only lose body fat for now but also for your lifetime.

Why diets don’t work? because it is short term solution for long term problems. Take a look at the following – weight control facts:

30% of Americans are trying to lose weight and another 30% are trying to maintain weight. Americans spend $30 Billion per year on diets and weight control plans. Two-thirds who lose weight on diets gain it back within 1 year and 98% gain their weight back and more within 2 years.

It is obvious that losing weight needs a step by step system that including everything for you to achieve it. A system will help you successfully to achieve weight loss for now and for long term.

Find a right guide, start losing weight and changing your life Today!

You can find A Complete and Professional Guide to Fat Loss – Lose Body Fat for Now and for Long Term here.

fat loss

praveen rathore asked:

There are several myths which discourage a fat person and divert his mind when he is trying to reduce his fat. A fat person always thinks negatively about the consequences of his fat reduction programme because of the myths and the fear which he is having in his mind which he came to hear from his surroundings.

I am going to tell you some myths and realities of loosing fat and its consequences. There are several points on which a fat person thinks before he starts his fat loosing programme. He thinks that how effective will be this programme and will he able to loose his extra fat without any bad effects on his body. Will he able to lead a normal life after loosing fat or he will have to compensate his fat loss in any other ways such as weakness, low immunity, anxiety and any thing like that. Some of these myths are mentioned below:-

Dieting programme sometimes harm you in return.

This is a common myth prevailing in society that if you are on a diet, it can prove fatal instead of giving you a healthy life. But it is not like true, as a dieting programme is just like a fat reduction treatment and a guide to loose fat if it is programmed sensibly. All you need to keep in mind is that your body must get all the important and necessary nourishments which are required for maintaining health. If you are on a diet and taking care of your body by supplying proper nourishment to your body it will never harm you. It has been observed that many countries people remains on fast for more than two days subsisting only on water, and if you are giving proper nourishment to your body you can be on a diet for months without any harm. A person may die due to many diseases which are associated with obesity, but never by dieting. Obesity is a result of imbalanced diet and dieting is a step in the direction of rectifying these faults.

Skin becomes loose and flabby after fat reduction

This is a baseless myth that skin becomes loose and flabby after fat reduction as skin has its own capability to shrink and expand. Flexibility is one of the most important qualities of the skin. Even if it can be seen in some cases, it is a temporary process and gets rectified automatically after some time. If we see some cases like, pregnancy and dropsy we can observe that skin gets it own shape after a particular time period. None of the fat reductions treatments affects skin like that.

Luster on face vanishes and face becomes pale and dull.

This is again a bluff that luster vanishes from a persons face following a dieting programme. If it is so in such cases it is also a temporary problem and face regains its luster and glow very soon. One who is under a dieting programme with an anxiety that he is going to have some side effects of weight loss, must know that all these problems are temporary and vanishes soon.

Digestive system becomes weak.

It has been also came to listen that if we loose weight our digestive system becomes weak as it has to change its working style and needs to adapt a new body structure .

This is ridiculous to say like that because after fat loss digestive system becomes healthier and improves its efficiency. It is over eating and not dieting which is responsible for digestive disorders. Fat free diet is always recommended to keep digestive system healthy. In a fat stomach there is a lot off cholesterol and extra mucus deposition which is responsible to digestive disorders and many fatal diseases.

Fat loss makes a person ill-tempered.

This myth is associated with the fact that carbohydrate controls the mood of a person. This is true that a person remains happy and easy going if his body is supplied with a proper amount of carbohydrate. But I do not know how a fat person becomes ill-tempered after he looses is extra fat. Is carbohydrate related to fat in anyway? No it is not. A slim person is also as happy as a fat person as both of them have a proper amount of carbohydrate in their body.

In reality it is the fat person who is always target of fun and derision. When he looses fat,

He looks smart and shapely; he becomes more confident, cheerful and enthusiastic. A fat person is always under depression and has inferiority complex as he is always targeted for fun. Because of this he becomes mentally sick and that results in ill-tempered behavior. So it is always wrong to say that a fat person becomes short-tempered after loosing weight.

So never get carried away by these myths as there is no harm if a person tries to loose fat scientifically and rationally. He only stands to gain many things. So start your mission now to regain all the profits of fat loss and lead a happy life, cut fat build muscles and get rid of your fat belly.

Create a video blog

James Wong asked:

Are you struggling to lose weight? Do you wish there was a secret to fat loss? By now you’ve probably been surfing the internet looking for answer to your weight loss question for at least an hour and you are ready to read something of real value…am I right?

You see the infomercials almost daily and you think to yourself, “If only I could see the results that these people are getting in the testimonials”. You see that a middle aged man or woman has lost in excess of 30lbs. and you just wonder how it can be done.

Take a quick moment and think about all the “quick fix” solutions to weight loss out there and how they always seem to fall short of the expectations you have put on them. How much have you spent on such infomercials? Twenty, fifty,…$100?

It’s actually downright insulting for these snake-oil salesmen to push their products on you! However, they are so well put together! It’s really a psychological game and these companies play it so well.

So now it’s time to get past all the infomercials and fad diets out there and talk about the cold, hard truth behind weight loss, abdominal reduction and fat burning. No gossip, just the science behind what we all need.

First, we need to address the important principle of structuring your workouts. In order to stimulate fat-loss, especially from your stomach, you need to stop wasting so much of your time doing worthless crunches and in the hopes of “spot-reducing” your abdominal fat.

Spot-reduction does not occur because fat loss AND weight loss occur from the body as a whole. Your body is not capable of selecting where it would like to burn fat from.

You can never lose fat from your stomach by exercising that area alone. You must do something much more capable of burning fat from the entire body and that’s what we will discuss next!

Now, don’t be put off by my bashing on ab exercises. I still believe ab exercises are an important addition to any workout. The point I would like you to run with is that ab exercises are great for strengthening the core area, however, they will not make you burn the most calories for your buck!

Instead, I like to concentrate on what I call the after-burn effect. You see, if you use multi-joint exercises like presses, pulls, and lunges, you will actually end up burning more fat from your belly than by using ab exercises!

I know this may be hard for you to imagine, but these types of exercises cause your body to have an increased metabolic rate for up to 72 hours after you perform them. Think about that!

If you do an intense workout consisting of these multi-joint exercises, you will reap an amazing benefit. During this 48-72 hour post exercise period your body will actually be flooded with fat-burning and muscle building hormones!

So, how do you do it? How do you accomplish this avalanche of fat-burning hormones? Easy, you use exercises like squats, lunges, deadlifts, presses, pulls, AND your favorite ab exercises together. However, your priority is placed on the exercises that are more intense and require more concentration.

This boils down to taking minimal rest periods and ignoring your gym friends’ gossip. You need to be intense! Keep track of your rest times and tell your buddies to meet you for food after your amazing fat burning workout!

Second, we need to eat for fat burning. Your nutrition literally has the power to make you burn fat. Of coarse, the exact opposite is true, food can also be the cause of your fat gain just as easily. The key is to use science in your favor to determine which foods should be eaten to accomplish your fat loss.

By following the recommendations of fad diets you will actually keep yourself from burning fat. Imagine that. The very thing that all of the fad diets claim to cure, they actually aid! If you follow the advice of the low-carb diets, soup diets, amazon diets, low-fat diets, and calorie ratio diets, you will only end up gaining fat because they do not understand the science behind fat loss.

None of these fad diets address the fact that a specific hormonal balance within the body is needed in order to burn fat. If this hormonal balance is not achieved, then there’s no fat burning!

When you begin to move away from the fad diets and toward a realistic fat burning program you will find that becoming leaner happens automatically. It has to become lean if your hormones are in their proper levels because hormones have the master key to this process!

So the secret to fat loss is essentially eating foods and doing activities that boost your fat burning hormones and limit your “fat adding hormones”. This process is not complex and has a definite cause and effect. Remember, stay positive about your weight loss goals and take it one day at a time.

Caffeinated Content

Nick Nilsson asked:

There are many good supplements on the market today that are extremely effective for fat loss. Fat loss is big business and this has fueled tremendous developments in technology. There are more high-quality fat burning products out there now than ever before.

Properly used, these supplements can make a big difference in your fat loss efforts, helping you reach your goals far quicker.

Improperly used, however, fat burning supplements can actually make you fatter, no matter how effective they are! In fact, the more effective a supplement is, the worse off you could be!!

To be clear, there is absolutely nothing wrong with using supplements to help lose fat. I’m all for it. The main problem with fat loss supplements lies with how people use them (and how they are told and encouraged to use them).

Armed with the knowledge in this article, you will learn exactly what you can do to break the diet pill cycle and keep the fat off for good.

The Big Secret…

The diet pill and fat loss drug industry is built on ignorance: not theirs, yours.

Many of these companies bank on that fact that people generally don’t know a whole lot about fat loss or supplements. They are in the business of selling shortcuts to you so that you don’t have to know anything about fat loss. The reason for this is simple: if people knew a lot about fat loss, they wouldn’t need fat loss products anymore and the companies would go out of business.

As backwards as it seems, the diet industry can only stay profitable by keeping people fat.

Look at the typical business. They do their best to keep customers coming back to them. That’s how they make money. Why would the diet industry be any different? If you lose fat and maintain that fat loss you won’t need to lose fat anymore. You won’t be their customer anymore!

As little business sense as it makes, the ideal situation would be to have companies that are dedicated to the goal of losing customers. If they do their job, you will lose fat and keep it off and never need them again! As a personal trainer, my goal has always been to train people so thoroughly that they don’t need me anymore.

Is this sort of reform going to happen in the diet industry? Not likely. But there is something you can do to stop the cycle (you are doing it right now): LEARN!

How Fat Loss Pills Can Make You Fatter

The bottom line is…fat loss pills work. This is both the best thing about them and the worst thing about them.

When you take a good fat burning supplement, you lose a lot of fat, you feel better about yourself and you are happy, right? This is the best thing about fat loss supplements.

The worst thing about these supplements is that because they work so well, you don’t have to change your eating or exercise habits to accomplish your goals. You get results simply by taking a little pill.

Does this phrase sound familiar: “Eat whatever you want and still lose weight!”

Here’s the scenario: you take the pills and you lose all the weight you want. What happens when you stop taking the supplement once you’ve reached your goals? Since you haven’t had to change your eating or exercise habits, you regain the weight. Then you buy their pills again and start the same cycle again! It is very similar to the yo-yo diet syndrome of weight loss and regain.

How do you break this cycle? The solution is very simple though it may not be glamorous or easy: you learn to eat properly and you exercise regularly.

When you remove your dependence on fat loss pills to lose fat (through education, nutrition and exercise), you free yourself to use them to enhance your efforts, not anchor them. You will be able to lose your extra fat and keep it off without having to depend on fat loss pills to make it happen.

fat loss

Faye B. Roberts asked:

There are countless people today looking for the best fat loss techniques that will aid in body fat loss forever. The world today is geared to believe that beauty means being thin. So, this puts enormous pressure on fat people to be thin and finding the best fat loss program they can. The best fat loss products will aid fat loss by assisting you to change your lifestyle, eating habits and help you lose the weight forever.

With the never ending products that claim to help dieting success, it is a mystery to those looking at what is hype and what is real. This is a billion dollar a year industry and can be frustrating if the claims of the fat loss products do not do what they claim. Of course nothing is a miracle and if are unwilling to do your part, then none of the fat loss techniques out there will do you any good. Pounds and inches are not just wished away by themselves.

Be wary of the fat loss products that put you on a limited food intake, or eliminate food groups all together. They may result in quick fat loss but set you up for the weight and ugly fat to come back on, and maybe even more than you started with. There are dieting pills that contain chemicals that can harm your health while assisting you to lose weight. You need to look at the fat loss techniques used and evaluate how it will help in your weight loss efforts and what effects will the product or method have on your health.

Recent new science based fat loss discoveries are showing that the fat hormones leptin and adiponectin are not functioning properly in the fat or obese population. These hormones are responsible for sending the messages to the brain. They control appetite signaling and fat storage control. If they are not sending the correct messages, the brain is not responding with the correct answers to appetite control and fat storage centers. So look for fat loss products that help the normal workings of your body to function properly. I have heard it said that god did not make mistakes when he designed the body, but sometimes these parts get messed up a bit and need some help to get back on the right track.

It is up to you to due your due diligence and research before buying any fat loss products. It is not just your money that is at risk, but your health as well and remember it took time to put the weight on so a quick fat loss method might not be wise. We know losing weight will help you to be healthier unless you compromise your health getting to you weight loss goal. Check to see if the fat loss program has proven results. Clinical studies would be the best then you are not just relying on the word of people but the reputation of the clinical provider. Be sure to validate any fat loss program before starting it with a health professional to be sure that the fat loss program you have chosen will not cause you more problems than you will gain by being slim.

Website content

Jonathan Wong asked:

After more than 10 years of experience as a Singapore Personal Trainer, I have made the observation that more than 90% of my clients require some form of fat loss to achieve the results they want.

Several really good coaches have come out with excellent fat loss manuals, methods and training programs. So how do you choose?

In this article I will be discussing my own experience with different fat loss protocols.

NOTE: ALL the methods below will not be effective without good nutrition. You need to eat enough protein, vegetables, fruits and healthy fats for this stuff to work.

Its been guessed that you need about 3-4 hours of physical activity PER DAY to overcome a poor diet and still lose fat. In our sedentary lives, we need to eat right for fat loss or else it just isn’t going to happen.

Method 1 – Long, Slow, Distance training (LSD)

Stair climbers, elliptical trainers, jogging, swimming, whatever. The main idea here is, “lets burn as many calories as we can during exercise”, and “lets make sure as many of those calories are from fat”. From an aesthetic perspective, the thought is “long distance, endurance athletes are thin, so to get thin we should do LSD training.”

In theory this makes alot of sense. LSD does burn alot of calories because it can be done (as the name suggests) for a LONG time. A larger percentage of the calories burnt are fat due to the “zone” at which these activities are done. However recovery is easy and you won’t burn calories outside of your exercise time.

In my time in the armed forces, long runs were very popular. In the process of training for a half marathon, we ran 12, 14, and 16km runs every week. What happened?…I got thin and weak. “Well at least he got thin” you might think but I got THIN not LEAN.

I had marginally visible abs but nothing like the ripped appearance you might expect from so much endurance training. I also lost 30cm from my broad jump and a few tenths of a second off my sprint times.

My bad experiences are the norm for people who use this method. In addition LSD takes a lot of training time and takes more and more as you get “better” at it and need to increase the distances and mileage.

Science also backs up these experiences. For fat loss, LSD is not even an improvement over diet alone.

An example of a LSD training program would be 45 mins of swimming 2x a week, and 45 mins of jogging 2x a week.

Does it work? – No, its ineffective and takes alot of time.

In other areas like rehabilitation and therapy, there is a place for LSD training. But there is NO PLACE for it in a fat loss program.

Method 2 – Metabolic Disturbance Training

The main idea of metabolic training is to create as much “disturbance” to the body’s systems so that we burn calories all day not just when we are doing the exercise. In addition, it maintains and even builds muscles and that’s important when losing fat.

This disturbance is so great that one study shows 9 times greater fat loss for this form of training when compared to LSD training. And the time spend exercising was far lower for the metabolic training group.

They just did such intense training during that exercise time that the body was burning above normal calories for up to 38 hours after the training session. WOW. The calories burnt DURING exercise was about 1/2 the LSD group, but the total calories burnt was far higher.

Whats happening? Lots of disturbance to the body’s state, so lots of adaptation. That adaptation is fat loss.

I have used this method extensively with clients and myself as well. It plain works. Fat melts off. The workouts are short (1 hour or less) and challenging. I have clients losing 10kg of fat in 2 months easily.

Here is a sample of a metabolic fat loss workout that was performed just a week ago by one of my fairly strong clients. Note A1, A2 etc mean that the exercises are performed one after the other, a “super-set”. All exercises are done with a 3 sec lowering and 2 sec lifting timing

A1: Stiff Leg Dead lifts x 12 reps rest 45s

A2: One handed Push ups x 6 reps/side rest 45s repeat A1 Total 5 super-sets

B1: Seated Cable Rowing x 12 reps rest 45s

B2: Barbell Lunges x 10 reps/side rest 45s Repeat B1 total 5 sets

C1: Stability ball sit ups x 12 reps no rest

C2: Shoulder external rotation x 15 rest 30 sec Repeat C1 total 3 sets

The training session ended with 10 mins of interval sprints on a stationary bike. The total training time was about 60 mins.

Does it work? YES!. This is THE preferred method of fat loss for my clients. Results are just about guaranteed, the body simply cannot keep fat around when its being worked like this.

Method 3 – Interval training

This method burns calories, and creates significant disturbance and post exercise calorie burn. It’s disadvantage is that it doesn’t do as well at maintaining/building muscles as resistance training (but its not nearly as bad as LSD). Interval training can really vary from a sprint(90-100% of your best) + a walk(20-30%) to a fast striding pace (75-85%) + a jog (40-50%) or anything in between.

I use some kind of interval training for all clients wanting fat loss. Its not as demanding on recovery as resistance training so it can be added to most training programs.

A sample interval session would be:

10 sec sprint cycle (100% effort) followed by, 20 sec slow cycle (30% effort) repeat 20-60 times depending on conditioning level. It only takes 10-20 mins but its really effective.

another example of a lower intensity (not as effective but less demanding on recovery ability and can be done more often)

30 sec fast cycle (80% effort) followed by 30 sec slow cycle (30% effort)repeat 10-20 times

Does it work: Yes. Intervals are a valuable fat loss tool in any training program. Not as good as Method 2 but intervals can be added in for added effect.

Method 4 – Strength training

This method focuses on retaining as much muscle as possible while letting fat loss occur through diet. The weights that you life should reamin heavy, and the number of reps per set should remain low. The idea is to make sure that we lose little to no muscle or strength during the fat loss phase.

My experience of this is a personal one. On a diet with few calories, I did not perform any intervals or LSD training because my calorie intake was to low to support those training methods. I went to about 5-6% body fat and had the “ripped look”. If I had used a different kind of fat loss training method, my muscle mass would have dropped and that would have been terrible news on a reduced calorie diet. Exercise volume (total weight lifted) must be kept low because we match this kind of training to a lower calorie diet.

A sample workout would look something like this

A: Barbell Squat 3 reps x 6 sets 120s rest between sets

B1: Barbell Row 5 reps x 3 sets 90 sec rest

B2: Military Press 5 reps x 3 sets 90 sec rest

C: Step up 5 reps/leg x 3 sets 90 sec rest

Does it work? Yes but the workout doesn’t burn that many calories and the disturbance is not as much as metabolic training (Method 2).

So far all I have given are the 4 main methods that are in use today. “So what should I use?” you ask. Ok It depends on who you are.

For a beginner to intermediate client (1 year hard training or less) with a fat loss priority, Use method 2 and 3 together. 30-40 mins of metabolic training + 10-20 mins of intervals will do the trick.

For an advanced client (great technique, strong for their body weight), use method 2, 3, and a sprinkling of 4 (1 in every 6 to 8 training sessions. 40 mins of strength/metabolic training + 10-20 mins of intervals

For a athletes in metabolic sports (lots of running around) who need to lose a bit of fat, use method 2 with a bit of 4. Sport training will take care of the “interval” requirements.

For athletes in a power/speed sport (sprints, throws, weightlifting) who need to make a lower weight class, use 4 with a bit of 3. Let a reduced calorie diet take care of the fat loss. Use training to maintain strength, power and speed. Also keep the intervals in the high intensity range. If your sport training has tempo runs or sprints, you can cut out the intervals entirely.

Hope this clears up any misconceptions about fat loss training. Once again you MUST eat cleanly for fat loss. Get to you goals quickly and wisely.

Caffeinated Content

Jason Morrison asked:

Fat Loss 4 Idiots is one of the easiest methods of losing weight that I have ever come across. Everything is done for you. Fat Loss 4 Idiots is a dieting program which comes with meal plan generator. That’s why it makes your fat loss process extremely effective. Fat loss 4 idiots is not specifically a low fat or low carb diet. The diet works by shifting the type of calories that are eaten to confuse the body’s metabolism into burning fat at a higher rate.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots is a clear straight-forward system packed with plenty of helpful suggestions that will help you get a grip on how what you eat affects you. Fat Loss 4 Idiots clearly shows you how making permanent changes to the types of foods that you eat and the repeating patterns of how you eat will help you lose the fat once and for all. Fat Loss 4 Idiots is a bit similar to this concept, as in you do not eat the same foods over and over everyday. You keep some of the core foods but switch things up to keep your metabolism up to burn more fat. Fat Loss 4 Idiots is based on the breakthrough calorie shifting technique. Instead of counting calories, you shift the types and proportions of calories you eat at different meals over an 11-day cycle.

Lose weight fast diets you have tried previously didn’t work for the long term but this one does. Lose 9lbs in 11 days with the new fat loss 4 idiots diet plan. This is no ordinary diet program because you even get to eat 4 meals in. Start a garden and grow some of your own vegetables for your Fat Loss 4 Idiots program. Start with a walk, park further away from the store or your office. Then as you progress, find time to walk more or jog.

Eating the right way can also make you lose weight. This diet plan explains to you which foods to eat and how often to eat them. Eating four meals at two-and-a-half hour intervals regulates hormones, keeps you from feeling hungry, boosts your energy, and allows you to lose weight.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots offers to help you lose up to 9 pounds in 11 days. Much of this is probably water weight, (since it’s hard for the human body to lose so much fat at one time unless you are very obese). Fat Loss 4 Idiots is completely different approach based on calorie shifting. This means that your body will be given different types of calories each day .which modifies your metabolism and forces FASTER fat loss to happen. Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet is an online diet program that was launched back in 2005 when it was still known as the Weight Loss 4 idiots. The program has had numerous following that it became one of the most popular diet website during that year.

Website content

Sandy Klocinski asked:

Research on obesity shows that many adults are suffering because of their obesity

Medical professionals show that adults who are obese have a greater chance for heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Research on obesity has increased recently for obesity is a problem in the United States and in other places around the world. The percentage of children, teenagers and adults who can be classified as obese has increased recently, and the problem is very detrimental to the health of many people. Approximately 30% of non-Hispanic whites are obese while 45.0% of non-Hispanic blacks and 36.8% of Mexican Americans are obese.

Research on obesity has proven that a family group adopts the same attitudes and practices toward food, behavior and activity level. Focusing on a modification program for the whole family will hopefully increase the success rate for everyone involved.

Overweight and obesity increase the risk of developing numerous serious health problems, including heart disease and type 2 diabetes. The prevalence of type 2 diabetes has increased with the national increase in overweight and obesity

Health and medical professions concentrate on treating obesity’s results – heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, gallstones, sleep apnea, bowel cancer, etc. It is a preventable disease through changes in diet and by becoming more physically active. Health Costs – Our children are paying dearly and at their young age are not realizing this. Type 2 Diabetes has risen from 4% new cases seen in the pre-1990’s to between 8-45% during the 1990’s.

Families and communities lie at the foundation of the solution to the problems of overweight and obesity. Family members can share their own knowledge and habits regarding a healthy diet and physical activity with their children, friends, and other community members. Families that do not eat together tend to consume more fried foods and soda and less fruits and veggies than families that share meals.

BMI is useful as a general guideline to monitor trends in the population, but by itself is not diagnostic of an individual patient’s health status. Further evaluation of a patient should be performed to determine his or her weight status and associated health risks. BMI equals a person’s weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared. BMI is imperfect since it fails to distinguish fat from lean body mass.

Overweight refers to an excess of body weight compared to set standards. Overweight people face discrimination — in jobs and social situations; even the clothes they need usually cost more! Many can’t enjoy the simple things that most Americans take for granted — like, going to the movies, riding on a roller coaster, even walking up stairs or tying shoes is a major ordeal. Overweight is defined as having a BMI of 25 to 29.9 (a 5′5″ woman who weighs 150 pounds or more or a 5′11″ man who weighs 180 pounds or more). A BMI of 20 to 24.9 is considered normal weight, and a BMI under 20 is considered underweight.

Fat farms are helpful, but a lot of fat people consider these places a stigma and would rather not go there. Instead, they would prefer to have their own parents, relatives, and close friends guide them through the steps that have to be taken to lose weight

Kansieo.com

Leslie Boll asked:

Q: What is obesity?

A: According to the Centers for Disease Control, obesity is defined as “the condition of an excessively high amount of body fat or adipose tissue in relation to lean body mass.” 1 A more commonly-known definition of obesity is that of an individual’s weight being 30% or more above what is considered normal as defined by a standardly-accepted height/weight chart (e.g. The National Center for Health Statistics or Metropolitan Life Insurance Company). Overweight and obesity are also commonly determined by calculating an individual’s body mass index.

Morbid obesity means that the individual weighs anywhere from 50 to 100% percent more than normal weight or they are more than 100 pounds over normal weight. Morbid obesity literally means that the amount of overweight a person is carrying is life-threatening, due to its related health risks. Morbid obesity also often significantly hinders or prevents an individual from accomplishing many day-to-day functions. Surgical procedures like gastric bypass are often seriously considered as a weight control option for those who are morbidly obese.

Q: Why should obesity taken seriously?

A: Obese individuals have a 50 to 100% increased risk of death from all causes as compared to normal-weight individuals. 5

Q: What is the difference between being overweight and obese?

A: The CDC defines overweight as referring to increased body weight in relation to height as determined by comparison to a standard height/weight chart. 1 People who are considered overweight have not reached a high enough weight to qualify as being obese. As a rule of thumb, the medical community usually considers someone to be overweight rather than obese if their weight is 10% higher than normal as definied by height/weight charts.

Defining Overweight and Obesity

Overweight and obesity are both labels for ranges of weight that are greater than what is generally considered healthy for a given height. The terms also identify ranges of weight that have been shown to increase the likelihood of certain diseases and other health problems.

Definitions for Adults

For adults, overweight and obesity ranges are determined by using weight and height to calculate a number called the “body mass index” (BMI). BMI is used because, for most people, it correlates with their amount of body fat.

An adult who has a BMI between 25 and 29.9 is considered overweight.

An adult who has a BMI of 30 or higher is considered obese.

See the following table for an example.

HeightWeight RangeBMIConsidered

5’ 9”

124 lbs or less

Below 18.5

Underweight

125 lbs to 168 lbs

18.5 to 24.9

Healthy weight

169 lbs to 202 lbs

25.0 to 29.9

Overweight

203 lbs or more

30 or higher

Obese

It is important to remember that although BMI correlates with the amount of body fat, BMI does not directly measure body fat. As a result, some people, such as athletes, may have a BMI that identifies them as overweight even though they do not have excess body fat. For more information about BMI, visit Body Mass Index.

Other methods of estimating body fat and body fat distribution include measurements of skinfold thickness and waist circumference, calculation of waist-to-hip circumference ratios, and techniques such as ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Definitions for Children and Teens

For children and teens, BMI ranges above a normal weight have different labels (at risk of overweight and overweight). Additionally, BMI ranges for children and teens are defined so that they take into account normal differences in body fat between boys and girls and differences in body fat at various ages. For more information about BMI for children and teens (also called BMI-for-age), visit BMI for Children and Teens.

Health Risks Associated with Obesity

Research has shown that as weight increases to reach the levels referred to as “overweight” and “obesity,”* the risks for the following conditions also increases:1

Coronary heart disease

Type 2 diabetes

Cancers (endometrial, breast, and colon)

Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Dyslipidemia (for example, high total cholesterol or high levels of triglycerides)

Stroke

Liver and Gallbladder disease

Sleep apnea and respiratory problems

Osteoarthritis (a degeneration of cartilage and its underlying bone within a joint)

Gynecological problems (abnormal menses, infertility)

The health risks of obesity are serious and even life-threatening. Heart disease, for example, is the number one cause of death in America and can be directly linked to obesity.

I wrote this article to make us all aware of what Obesity is and the risks involved with being overweight. I’m promoting a weightloss business and would love for everyone to take a very close look at this new weightloss technology!
